Did you guys hear what they are doing to Mexican Avocados?The USA is stopping Avocados from crossing the border.
Whatever your position of immigration into the United States is, I think we can all agree that Avocados should get full amnesty.
I will say it here, and I’m not scared to say it: Avocados should be able to freely come back and forth from Mexico and the USA. Heck, can we grant them full American citizenship? Can you even do that?
Whatever the answer, this is the type of issue we can all get behind as a country.
Remember what Jesus said about helping those in need:
“I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me.” -Matthew 25:35.
Jesus is practically talking about the avocado situation right here! Even Jesus loved avocado toast.
Who doesn’t love a fresh avocado? Put it on toast, or in a guacamole. Or, just by itself with a little salt and pepper, Mexican avocados are necessary for the American experience.
We need to stand up for the citizenship of Avocados. Because I am not afraid to admit it: I love Avocados. And I will not rest until I see every single avocado able to freely come into this country and end up on my toast.
