Fitness Myth: You will burn more calories if you workout fasted

There is a Myth about working out fasted, and burning calories

Do You think, you will burn more calories if you work out fasted?

Here is my answer:

I prefer having something in me prior to a workout even if it is something small.

 A Calorie= a heated energy source. In other words, we need fuel to burn.

Eating something or drinking something prior to a workout will give you more energy during the workout, you’ll be able to get more out of it, you will go longer AND you will be less likely to binge eat afterwards.

If eating a meal or a snack sounds unpleasant before a workout then try a scoop of your favorite protein with water in a shaker bottle and sip on it before, during and after your workout. If that sounds like too much then try a scoop of BCAA’s in water.
