Gas Prices are high. Like, double check you didn’t put in diesel high.
This seems to be the only thing people are talking about the past couple days. And let me tell you- I am feeling the “pain at the pump”.
*“Pain at the Pump” is probably being used by every local news station in their segments about gas prices.*
I think one of the hardest parts of following God is believing that He cares about my bank account. Deep in my heart, I know that Jesus wants to give me everything and doesn’t want me to live in a little box. But sometimes it’s hard to feel like God really understands this Gas Crisis we are experiencing!
I have to be constantly reminded that Jesus cares about every little part of my life, including finances.
This verse is a great reminder of Jesus’ care for our needs: “And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus” -Philippians 4:19.
So, how does it help with high gas prices? Well, for me I know that everything is temporary. These prices won’t last forever. But God does. The one thing that will last forever cares about me. And He will fulfill every single one of my needs.
